NAMB Church Planting is a new-work field internship. It is available to seminary students during each semester and the summer months. This program involves 13 weeks (10 weeks during summer) of practical experience in church planting. NAMB Internship is a church-planting endeavor. It is not to be confused with Student Summer Missions or other missions activities. The NAMB Internship is co-sponsored by Leadership Enlistment and Training, The Church Planting Group of the North American Mission Board, and the six SBC seminaries.
Students involved in the NAMB Internship program are provided a stipend while they work with a supervisor to start a church plant. If the internship is in the summer and out-of-state, there is also the provision of room, board, and transportation. This program is highly evangelistic in nature. There are up to six credit hours available for this program. For more information contact Dr. Steve Lee, NAMB Professor at 817.923.1921 x6430 or e-mail his assistant Josh Ralls, email@example.com.
