Conducting

The conducting program is designed to give students practical experience in their field leading to a deeper understanding of music-making in an ensemble experience. Advanced students are given ample podium time with the 200-voice Master Chorale, Southwestern Singers, the Fort Worth Civic Orchestra (in residence on campus), and other ensembles. Through the relationship of the chorus with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, students are allowed to attend rehearsals of the Fort Worth Symphony.
