Southwestern Advisory Council

The purpose of the Southwestern Advisory Council (SWAC) is to support and promote Southwestern Seminary and The College at Southwestern in their efforts to impact the world through current and future generations of leaders. SWAC conducts its ministry and fiscal mandate through three constituent groups: President’s Club, President’s Partners and Southwestern Action Teams.

President’s Club & President’s Partners

Members assist the seminary with monetary gifts according to the following gift levels:

President’s Partners - Annual, $1 - $999

Southwestern Action Teams (SWATs)
Southwestern Action Teams (SWATs) assemble in strategic locations to meet the needs of students. Four types of teams are in need of volunteers:

  • Prayer Team - Pray for Southwestern and specific students needs.
  • Feeding the Shepherds Team – Provide a welcome meal twice a year to students when they move into the dorms.
  • Recruitment Team – Help connect prospective students with Southwestern.
  • Barnabas Team – Adopt a student to encourage and pray for throughout the year.
