Dr. Mac Brunson

Dr. Mac Brunson currently serves as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church Jacksonville, FL, and has previously served at churches in South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Texas. Dr. Brunson holds a B.A. from Furman University and earned his M.Div and D.Min from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Brunson is a gifted and faithful teacher whose messages combine sound, Biblical preaching and practical, candid application. His extensive historical knowledge provides context, insight, and understanding as he encourages his listeners to join him in becoming a student of God’s Word. Married to his childhood sweetheart, Debbie, the Brunsons are blessed with three children and three grandchildren.
