Southwestern offers course credit at The Gospel Coalition

FORT WORTH, Texas (SWBTS) – Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary will offer a hybrid course in conjunction with The Gospel Coalition (TGC) next spring. The 2013 conference of TGC is scheduled for April 8-10 in Orlando, Fla.
 
Jason Duesing, vice president for strategic initiatives and assistant professor of historical theology, and Thomas White, vice president for student services and communications and associate professor of systematic theology, will teach the classes. Classified as main campus residential courses, the classes will include attendance at the TGC conference as well as preparatory lectures that students can attend in person or access online. Seminary students can enroll in “Salvation: The Gospel” (SYSTH 3613 A), and students in the College at Southwestern can enroll in “Theology Focused Study: The Gospel” (THE 4203).
 
In order to take this class, students must enroll through the registrar’s office at Southwestern and register for the TGC conference at thegospelcoalition.org. Additionally, students can register for an optional pre-conference on missions, April 6-7. Students are responsible for travel, room and meals. They need to arrive at the conference by 11:00 a.m. on April 8 and leave no earlier than noon on April 10.
