Alumnus evades tragedy, shares Gospel in African bush

FORT WORTH, Texas (SWBTS) –Driving in the African bush, alumni Tim and Charlotte Cearley, missionaries in Mozambique, evaded tragedy when they hit a 3-year-old boy who ran into the road. Through this experience, they also saw God open doors to share the Gospel.
The Cearleys met while they were students at Southwestern Seminary in 1978, and they married the following year. Tim graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with his Master of Divinity degree in 1982; Charlotte completed her Master of Religious Education in 1980. They served with the International Mission Board in Zimbabwe in 1982, and they moved to Mozambique in 1995.
