Alumnus’ ministry establishes prayer website

FORT WORTH, Texas (SWBTS) – Under the leadership of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary alumnus John Roland, Prayer Igniters International has established a website to encourage and equip people to pray.
 
“Our goal is to encourage and increase Christian prayer, empowering us to become closer to God and to each other,” said Roland, executive director of Prayer Igniters International, according to an article published in the Newnan Times-Herald, Nov. 26. The ministry recently established prayerideas.org to help people learn how to pray.
 
Roland earned his Master of Divinity (with biblical languages) from Southwestern Seminary in 2001.
