Patterson to speak on lessons learned from the Conservative Resurgence

FORT WORTH, Texas (SWBTS)--Southwestern Seminary president Paige Patterson has been invited to speak at the Northeastern Regional meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS), April 17.

The following announcement was printed in the 2010 ETS annual newsletter:

Northeastern Regional
“Lessons Learned from the Conservative Resurgence”
Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, April 17, 2010

At the 2004 National ETS Meetings, Dr. Paige Patterson (Southwestern Theological Seminary) gave a report of the turn around in the SBC. When he finished, Dr. Patterson received a standing ovation from those attending the national meetings.

We can learn and grow from this historical shift within a denomination. That is why the ETS Northeastern regional subcommittee has invited Dr. Patterson to be the guest speaker at its 2010 regional meetings hosted by the Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Albany, NY.
