Southwestern grads appointed with IMB

FORT WORTH, Texas (SWBTS) – The International Mission Board (IMB) appointed Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary alumnus James Roberts and his wife, Angela, during its most recent missionary appointment service, Sept. 15.
The Robertses, originally from Texas, were appointed to serve in an unreached city of Central Europe. James earned his Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Seminary in 1997.
During the appointment service, James told the gathering at the Bell Shoals Baptist Church of Brandon, Fla., about his first experience on the mission field: In 2000, he travelled to war-torn Kosovo, where he began to sense his call to career missions. This September, the IMB also appointed six Southwestern Seminary alumni to serve in undisclosed locations around the globe.
