Craig Mitchell

Associate Professor of Cultural Studies and Director of the Richard Land Center for Cultural Engagement

A full-time faculty member since 2002, he teaches courses in Christian ethics and philosophy of religion. He is also a research fellow for the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention and director of the Richard Land Center for Cultural Engagement. Dr. Mitchell's PhD dissertation is titled Alvin Plantinga's Proper Functionalist Epistemology As A Model For Christian Ethics. He has advanced degrees in ethics/philosophy, economics, and engineering. Dr. Mitchell is currently pursuing his second PhD in Public Administration. His interests include ethical theory, political economy, and public policy.
