Piano

The Piano Department offers its students many opportunities for excellence and study within a Christian framework. The various concentrations in piano on the master's and doctoral level include elements of literature, pedagogy and accompanying skills, but with slightly different emphases. The piano performance concentration continues a student's undergraduate emphasis by developing literature and skills leading to excellence in performance. The piano pedagogy concentration offers opportunities to study and teach in classroom and private settings. The accompanying concentration - based on a background of solo skills - offers a variety of experience in ensemble, church piano and accompanying skills.
