God’s Word is powerful and effective, and He has called you to proclaim it. Through Southwestern Seminary’s School of Theology, you will find answers to your questions about His Word and your ministry. From Christ-centered, conservative scholars, you’ll learn biblical languages, apologetics, theology, church history, preaching, pastoral ministry and much more.
In the School of Theology, you’ll also put your knowledge into practice: You will share your faith, make disciples and evangelize the nations. You’ll serve local churches and travel to the world’s most demanding mission fields, from places like the inner cities of the U.S. to the dusty towns and villages of Mexico and Africa.
Professors at Southwestern come with both world-class credentials and a passion for the Bible, the church and evangelism. In the School of Theology, you’ll be able to interact with your professors both inside and outside the classroom. Join them for lunch, meet them on the playing field during intramural sports, or develop a mentoring relationship with them.

Whatever God calls you to do, Southwestern has a degree program that will help you apply His word to your ministry.
“I love to teach at Southwestern because it gives me the opportunity to mold the next generation of godly preachers in pulpits around the world. The spirit of our students on campus reflected from the classrooms to chapel to other activities is amazing. These are young men and women who will go anywhere and take on any job for Christ and His kingdom.”
