The Office of Student Services at Southwestern Seminary is sponsoring a marriage enrichment workshop for seminary students and their spouses Feb. 10-11 at the Recreation Aerobics Center. The workshop will be taught by Dr. and Mrs. Bill Goff.
Kent Sanders, director for student life, said the workshop fills an important role in the life of seminary students who are often under financial stress and who must balance seminary life with family life. “Healthy marriages are those that make relationship building a top priority. We hope that students will join us for this fun and insightful opportunity to learn about the building blocks of a solid, Christ-centered marriage,” Sanders said.
Dr. and Mrs. Bill Goff are the authors of “Christian Marriage and the Family,” and will be leading students in sessions on “the Five Love Languages” from author and Southwestern Seminary alumnus Gary Chapman, conflict resolution, strengthening communication skills, and other marriage-related topics.
The workshop is limited to the first 15 couples who register. Cost is $10, which includes lunch and a workbook. For more information on the workshop or to make reservations, contact Kent Sanders at 817-923-1921 ext. 6160.
