Third annual gala concert scheduled for Feb. 2

Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary will present its third annual concert of sacred music at the Bass Performance Hall in downtown Fort Worth Feb. 2 at 8 p.m. The concert is a celebration of the ancient and modern hymns and spiritual songs of the Christian faith.

Last year, more than 1,200 people attended the second annual gala concert at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas. This year¹s concert in Fort Worth will feature the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the nationally recognized Southwestern Oratorio Chorus, and harpist Greg Buchanan. The symphony and Oratorio Chorus will present the works of Bach, Mendelssohn and Saint-Saens with orchestra.

The gala concert is a presentation of the School of Church Music at Southwestern Seminary in conjunction with the Church Music Workshop.
