Professors, students present at scholarly meetings

FORT WORTH, Texas (SWBTS) – Professors and students from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and the College at Southwestern are slated to present papers at the 2013 meetings of the Southwest Commission of Religious Studies (SWCRS) and the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS) Southwest region in March.

During the Southwest Regional meeting of the ETS, March 1-2, the following professors and students will present papers:

• Scott Aniol, Ph.D. student, “Was Isaac Watts a Proto-Dispensationalist?”

• Travis Dickinson, assistant professor of philosophy and Christian apologetics, College at Southwestern: “God’s Knowledge by Acquaintance.”

During the SWCRS meeting, March 8-10, which includes the meetings of the American Society on Religion and the Society for Biblical Literature, the following professors and students will present papers:

Many of the papers presented at the SWCRS meeting report findings from Southwestern Seminary’s archaeological projects in Tel Gezer, Israel, and Kourion, Cyprus.
