Former Southwestern student accepts college presidency

FORT WORTH, Texas (SWBTS) – Mike Simoneaux, a former student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, accepted the presidency of Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, Ga., July 21. Simoneaux has served as interim president for the college since March.
Simoneaux studied church music at Southwestern Seminary in 1965 after earning his bachelor’s degree in music education at Mississippi College. He went on to earn master’s and doctoral degrees in music at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Prior to serving as interim president of Brewton-Parker College, Simoneaux served as acting president, and then as a vice president, at Truett-McConnell College. Visit the following link to read more about Simoneaux and his new position at Brewton Parker College:
