Southwestern alumnus named as vice president of B&H Publishing

FORT WORTH, Texas (SWBTS) – Trustees of LifeWay Christian Resources approved the executive committee’s proposal to name Southwestern Seminary alumnus Brad Waggoner as vice president of the B&H Publishing Group, Feb. 12.

Waggoner earned both his Ph.D. (1994) and his M.R.E. (1981) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. As part of his doctoral research, he developed The Discipleship Inventory, which has been published in LifeWay’s MasterLife discipleship training curriculum. The inventory, a tool for assessing a church’s disciple-making effort, was also used by the International Mission Board to examine the development of churches on the mission field.
