Southwestern mourns passing of Nilson do Amaral Fanini

FORT WORTH, Texas (SWBTS) – Nilson do Amaral Fanini, former president of the Baptist World Alliance, church planter and Southwestern graduate, passed away on Sept. 19 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was 77 years old.
Fanini, who has been called the “Billy Graham of Brazil,” was in Texas visiting family when he passed away. He is survived by his wife, three children and four grandchildren.
