The Fleming Collection, housed in the 100,000 square foot A. Webb Roberts Library building, contains more than 300,000 volumes. In addition, there are almost 100,000 annuals and associational minutes available. Seating is provided for 1,045 students on the three floors with a number of semi-private study carrels. The progressive philosophy of Roberts Library is reflected in the on-line computer catalog and circulation system.
The library has been judged to be one of the outstanding theological libraries in the United States based on the strength of its collections, diversity of materials, accessibility of resources, and service concepts of its staff. The J. T. and Zelma Luther Archives houses original copies of all theses and dissertations completed for advanced degrees, in addition to the Rare Book Collection, historical artifacts, and a large collection of materials on British Baptist history.
