Welcome to the gateway to the Libraries, through Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary's website. The largest Protestant seminary in the United States provides a superb library system with over 400,000 volumes.
Roberts Library, a 100,000 square foot facility that serves the Schools of Theology and Religious Education, was constructed in 1982. Bowld Music Library serves the School of Church Music and was constructed in 1992. The strength of the collections, diversity of materials, accessibility of resources, state-of-the art technology, and the service concepts of a highly competent staff make Southwestern's Libraries a premier ministry to this institution's faculty, staff, and students.
In addition to the Fleming Collection, the libraries contain the J.T. and Zelma Luther Archives, Price Hall Curriculum Laboratory, Audio-Visual Learning Center, the John and Cynthia Thomas Library Computer Learning Center, the John and Vida Cooper Faculty-Doctoral Study Area, the Reference collection and Serials holdings.
I look forward to meeting you when you are on campus, or you may contact me by electronic mail.
Yours in Christ,
C. Berry Driver, Jr., M.S.L.S., Ph.D.
