FORT WORTH, Texas (SWBTS) – Southwestern alumnus, Bruce Hall, went to great lengths to get to Fort Worth in 1949 so he could attend seminary. Hitchhiking from Greenville, S.C., he traveled the 1,044-mile journey with 22 different drivers.
In1957, he became pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Pamplico, S.C., where he faithfully served for nearly 40 years before retiring in 1996.
