Southwestern RSS Feeds

What is an RSS feed?

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an easy way for Web sites to share headlines and stories from other sites. Web surfers can use sophisticated news readers to surf these headlines using RSS aggregators.

Our Current Feeds

What do I need to do?

  • Make sure you have an RSS feed reader/aggregator.  Many of the top end readers can be purchased for a small price, but there are also many free readers out there: most browsers come with a reader (FireFox, Internet Explorer 7, Safari), many search engines offer feed readers (google, yahoo), there are several free rss feed reader web sites (netvibes, feedreader) and Microsoft Outlook 2007 has now included the ability to read RSS feeds.
  • You must subscribe to our feed using the URL link provided. We currently have two feeds available (News Releases and Chapel archives)
  • As our News Releases and chapel archives are updated with new content, your feed reader will automatically update and display the new content.
  • Check back often for other available RSS feeds.

If you have questions or need help getting this set up, please feel free to contact webservices@swbts.edu.
