In addition to his roles as vice president and assistant professor of preaching, Dr. Walker preaches frequently for local churches, revivals, and student camps.
With a passion for text-driven preaching Dr. Walker’s research interests include the history of exposition, ecclesiology, and the Trinity. Dr. Walker also has a passion for the outdoors and using the outdoors as a platform to reach men with the gospel. His first publication was a Christian hunting and fishing magazine titled “The Ultimate Pursuit.”
Currently, Dr. Walker seeks to serve as a pastor to the students at Southwestern and instill in a generation of men a passion for text-driven preaching.
