Dr. Streett's teaching and research interests span both Old and New Testaments, Second Temple Judaism, and Biblical Theology. He is particularly interested in the use of the OT in the NT, the book of Psalms, Jewish messianism, the Son of Man, and the Roman imperial context of the NT. His book The Vine and the Son of Man (Fortress Press, 2014) traces the eschatological interpretation of Psalm 80 from the time of its composition to its appropriation in several NT texts.

Dr. Streett previously served as a professor and library director at Criswell College and Redeemer Seminary and as a pastor to churches in Michigan and New Mexico. He continues to minister in local churches through preaching and teaching.

He is married to Allison, an accomplished sculptor and mother of six.
