W. Madison Grace II
Associate Professor of Baptist History and Theology, Director of the Oxford Study Program, and Editor of Southwestern Journal of Theology
W. Madison Grace was born in the culture of the Deep South in Yazoo City, Mississippi, but spent the majority of his childhood and youth in South Florida. After High school Dr. Grace moved back to Mississippi where he graduated with a B.A. in Christian Studies from Mississippi College. Feeling a call to minister he then moved to Fort Worth and Southwestern Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Systematic Theology. After his call to ministry Dr. Grace has served on a few church staffs in Mississippi and in Texas, most recently being the Family Pastor at Hallmark Baptist Church in Fort Worth where his membership still remains. He has been on faculty at Southwestern since the Fall of 2014. He has written articles in The Southwestern Journal of Theology on subjects of Theology and Baptist History. Dr. Grace is the proud husband of Shareen Nicole Grace and the father of three boys, William Madison Grace III, Tyler Augustine Grace, and Harrison Dietrich Grace.
