Being ready isn’t the easy way, but it’s a better way. It isn’t the path of least resistance; it’s the path of greatest impact. Jesus spent 40 days in the desert before beginning His ministry. He was ready.
Preparing for your mission requires more than just taking classes; it requires feeding your soul with the Word of God and finding answers to the difficult questions you will face. Southwestern is committed to equipping God-called men and women for a lifetime of ministry in furtherance of God’s Kingdom. We’ll give you the tools you need to follow Christ wherever He’s leading you.
Whatever the terrain, whatever the call, Be Ready.

This is David.
A fifth-generation cattle-rancher, he was called to minister in the pioneer mission field of Wyoming. Initially serving as a lay preacher, David realized he needed help putting a sermon together, and over the last several years, Southwestern Seminary has equipped him to do just that, enabling him to better reach his community with the Word of God. He's getting Ready.
This is Callie.
In 2016, she spent a semester doing missions in Lisbon, Portugal. She found that ministry requires time and patience. Her prior experience in the church and her education at Southwestern Seminary taught her how to invest in relationships and ultimately share the Gospel. She was Ready.
