Registration is now open for summer 8-week courses. Take advantage of this opportunity to complete two courses before the fall semester starts. Mission Trip Opportunities

Salt Lake City, Utah
Members of the team will spend 8 days on the ground inside the most non-Christian state in the United states and will experience first-hand missions in the three most non-Cristian metropolitan regions in the United States.

On this trip we will be working with the IMB's Nairobi Urban Team to engage Nairobi with the gospel. We will be sharing the gospel and following up with those with whom we share.

SWBTS at SBC Annual Meeting

Earn class credit while you attend the Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 13-16. 

Taught by Research Professor of Church History Gregory A. Wills, Baptist History course, “Southern Baptists,” provides a history of the founding and development of Southern Baptist church life. Basic organizational principles and characteristic functions of the Southern Baptist Convention will be addressed in this study as well as the role of associations and state conventions.

The only course meetings are in Nashville. Students are required to be there from Monday morning at 9am (for a class meeting) until the convention finishes its final Wednesday session. Students must register either as messengers or guests at the SBC annual meeting website.

  1. SWBTS Alumni and Friends Luncheon: You're invited to the Alumni & Friends Luncheon on Wednesday, June 16, immediately following the morning session of the annual meeting. This gathering of alumni and friends of SWBTS will feature updates from Seminary Hill, a report from President Adam W. Greenway, and presentations of the 2021 Distinguished Alumni awards.   2. Crossover Nashville: Invest a week of your summer doing evangelism. Join the SWBTS and Scarborough College Crossover team as we engage Nashville with the Gospel before the SBC Annual Meeting. Receptionist | Office of Strategic Initiatives

The Office of Strategic Initiatives is offering an opportunity to work as a Receptionist for the Vice President/Chief of Staff assisting with basic administrative tasks in order to ensure the efficient operation of the Office of the President as it serves institutional and external constituencies.
