FORT WORTH, Texas (SWBTS) – Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary alumnus Jerry Moore told the Florida Baptist Witness that his blindness in early life continues to help him see God clearly. Moore said his sight was restored after 10 years of blindness when he was 18 years old.

Moore, 78, received his B.D. degree from Southwestern Seminary in 1963, and retired from the ministry after 60 years of ministry late last year. Upon his retirement, he had served at Northside Baptist Church in Panama City for 31 years. He was featured in the Florida Baptist Witness on Feb. 12.
