This Week on the Hill: Campus meal plans now available, Virtual preaching conference for church revitalization

| Sep 8, 2020

"This Week on the Hill" is a weekly roundup of campus news, announcements, and events from Southwestern Seminary and Scarborough College.

Preaching for Church Revitalization

Last month, the SWBTS Center for Church Revitalization held a virtual preaching conference based on the concept of using sermon-based small groups in church revitalization.

The conference speakers emphasized the need for both text-driven preaching as well as follow-up discussion of the sermon or, more specifically, the text of Scripture on which the sermon is based in order to help church members understand the Word of God more fully.

If you weren't able to tune in live, you can still watch the full conference here.
