Benjamin M. Skaug

Dr. Skaug has 15 years of pastoral experience and church leadership. Skaug has served as Vice President of Institutional Advancement (Gateway Seminary) and Director of Development (Southern Baptist Theological Seminary). He has also taught at California Baptist University (Systematic Theology and Old Testament) as an adjunct professor. 

Dr. Skaug is the author of How Can a Loving God Send Anyone to Hell (Big Ten Questions) and has co-authored a chapter with Dr. Chris Morgan in Biblical Spirituality: God’s Holiness and Our Spirituality (Theology for Community). Dr. Skaug is under contract to co-author The Doctrine of Sin with Dr. Chris Morgan in the Theology for the People of God series. 

Dr. Skaug is married to Jodie and they have one daughter, Jessica. They spend their free time cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and camping. Dr. Skaug is also an outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, hunting, and BBQ.

Great thought: all I know is that I was blind, and by God’s Grace and mercy, now I see.
