Dr. Duncan serves as senior professor of church music and worship in the School of Church Music and Worship. Through his teaching he emphasizes that when God’s people gather to worship, they are equipped and inspired to share the gospel.

Dr. Duncan has extensive experience leading worship in the local church and at the denominational level, and as conductor of two premier choral groups. Additionally, he has served as an adjunct at several seminaries and universities.

Dr. Duncan is the creator of a conference titled, “Discovering Biblical Worship,” which has been taught in 8 states and 4 countries. He is an author and contributing author to articles in Church Musician, Worship, and other Lifeway materials.

Dr. Duncan is married to Mary, and they have two grown children, Raechel and Jessica.
