Campus Life

Welcome home to Seminary Hill!

Southwestern Seminary staff, faculty, and fellow students are excited to welcome you to the vibrant on-campus community available here in Fort Worth. At SWBTS, you will find numerous opportunities for fellowship, mentorship, and life-on-life discipleship, no matter your age or life stage.

Campus Dining

From handcrafted foods to specialty coffees and smoothies, campus dining has something for everyone. A variety of meal plan options are available for students, staff, and faculty, and the Coffeehouse and Food Hall have been designed to provide space for students to relax, study, and build community.

Every year, we host a robust schedule of speakers from a variety of different ministries, universities, churches, and Southern Baptist entities. Held every Tuesday and Thursday at 10am during the fall and spring semesters, SWBTS chapel provides an opportunity for the Southwestern community to worship together as a campus family.

The Recreation and Aerobics Center (RAC) exists to serve Southwestern by promoting physical and spiritual wellness while increasing community for the glory of God. Southwesterners can take advantage of a variety of offerings and opportunities at the RAC, including weightlifting equipment, a basketball court, a swimming pool, a children’s playground, intramural sports, and more.

Faculty Mentorship Groups

Faculty Mentorship Groups provide opportunities for our graduate and doctoral students to build mentoring relationships with faculty that extend beyond the academic setting and meaningful relationships with their peers. The faculty leading each Faculty Mentorship Group have a great desire, to be honest, and transparent about their own lives and how they daily live in worship.

Student Life

From game nights and color runs to talent shows and Easter egg hunts, our Student Life Team offers events and social activities designed to build community and help students cultivate lifelong friendships. Additionally, this team works to support the numerous student organizations that enrich our campus culture.

Campus housing provides comfortable and affordable options for on-campus students and their families. With apartments, houses, and dorms available, there are options for students in every life stage.
