External Scholarships

In addition to a student’s home church, local association, or state convention, a variety of private organizations also offer scholarship opportunities. As a service to our students, we have compiled a list of external scholarships that our student body may find helpful. This is not an exhaustive list, and we encourage students to pursue any additional avenues of financial aid.

External scholarships are not managed by Southwestern Seminary and each scholarship organization has its own scholarship criteria and awarding committee. Please visit the organization’s website or contact them directly to review the eligibility requirements for their scholarship. If you are awarded external aid, we may be asked to confirm your registration and eligibility. If you do not meet all eligibility requirements as established by the scholarship organization, we may be required to remove the funds from your student account and return them to the organization.
