Dr. Wilson serves as senior professor of pastoral and applied ministry and director of applied ministry in the School of Theology. His current research interests include leadership issues for the broader church and denominational community, discipleship-making and church health assessment.

Dr. Wilson was twice elected president of both the Colorado Baptist Convention and the North American Directors of Evangelism. Furthermore, he has served on numerous national, state, and associational committees, boards and tasks forces.

Dr. Wilson is married to Olivia, and they have two living children and five grandchildren.
