Shreveport BCM Internship Program

We are very thankful for your interest in our Shreveport BCM internship. Our internship is part of a program of post collegiate education, designed for students currently enrolled in seminary for collegiate ministry training, those intending to enroll in seminary for collegiate ministry training, or those exploring a call to collegiate ministry or some other ministry vocation. We would like to inform you of the nature of the internship.

• Position Title: Campus Ministry Intern

• Term of Service: August 1, 2024 until May 30, 2025

The intern program is a terminal program with no stated or implied promise of a permanent position with Shreveport BCM or the LBC.

• Housing:

Provided at no charge in the BCM Intern Apartment or off-site at intern’s expense.

• Supervisors: BCM Director and Associate Director

• Scope of Training: Full-time – approx. 32 hours Monday-Thursday.

• Financial Arrangement:

Stipend amount of $1000 per month for the duration of your term of service.  Stipend will be paid in two payments per month by the BCM, approximately the 15th and 30th of each month. The amount is fixed and does not vary according to duties assigned or duration of work.

Additionally, all trips (state conference and mission trips) and related expenses are covered for the intern from BCM budget.

• Termination:

The internship will remain in effect until completion of term or if notification is given by either party 2 weeks prior to termination of the intern agreement.
