International Students

When applying to Southwestern Seminary or Texas Baptist College, international students will need to submit the following additional documents:

Transcripts
Course-by-course international transcript evaluation
Church Recommendation
Statement of Financial Support
English Proficiency Test Results

Doctoral Students

Applications to one of our doctoral programs include some additional requirements. Specific admissions requirements may be found under the specific program of interest at the links below:

Provisional Admission

For experienced ministers who've not completed a bachelor's degree

At least 30 years of age
At least 1 year of undergraduate studies
At least 3 years of ministry experience
Submit a resume detailing ministry experience

If you qualify for provisional admission, then begin your application now, and indicate you are seeking provisional admission when prompted. Our Admissions Team will then communicate with you personally in order to obtain the necessary documentation.
