For Students and Alumni
Current Southwestern students and alumni may list their resumes and apply for openings at churches and organizations of the Southern Baptist Convention.
For SBC Churches
Want to post your church’s opening or look through electronic copies of resumes of Southwestern students and graduates who are available to be considered for ministry positions by SBC churches?
You may sign up to access the Resume Book feature or sign up and post to list your opening and access the resumes. Please contact the Office of Church Ministry Relations if you have any questions.

The Office of Church ministry maintains a list of employment opportunities at non-SBC churches, organizations, and companies. This list is available to current and prospective students and alumni. Internship opportunities are available also at both SBC and non-SBC churches. Ministry opportunities include pulpit supply, music minister supply, and youth event needs.

Internships & Preaching Opportunities
The Office of Church Ministry desires to serve the churches of the Southern Baptist Convention in diverse ways, ranging from providing consistent interim pastors to one-time student preachers. Pulpit Supply
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary is committed to equipping and sending out strong preaching pastors to meet the needs of churches for pulpit supply. Through rigorous theological training, practical ministry experience, and a deep emphasis on biblical exegesis and homiletics, the seminary prepares pastors who can faithfully proclaim God’s Word. By fostering spiritual maturity and leadership skills, Southwestern ensures that churches receive pastors who are not only skilled in preaching but also deeply committed to serving their congregations with wisdom, compassion, and integrity.
Disciple Now (D-Now)
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary is dedicated to supporting churches by providing strong leaders to assist with Disciple Now (D-Now) weekends. With a focus on spiritual formation and leadership development, the seminary equips students with the skills and biblical knowledge necessary to lead and disciple young people effectively. These leaders are prepared to engage students in meaningful discussions, guide them in spiritual growth, and help churches create impactful D-Now experiences that inspire lasting commitment to Christ.
