Advanced Standing Exam Request

Students must have completed the selected course(s) at the undergraduate level with a B- or better to be eligible to take the advanced standing exam(s). Students who score 75% or better on the exam will receive transcript credit for the course. No grade will be issued for completion of the exam and the grade will not factor into the GPA. Accreditation allows up to 33% of the degree to be earned through advanced standing with credit.

The Registrar’s Office will e-mail your student account with directions for accessing the exams through Canvas. There is no charge for taking the exams, even if the student receives transcript credit. Study guides are available and students can take the exam only once. The exam is timed at one hour and thirty minutes and students will receive immediate feedback regarding their grade.
