Ministerial Internship + Seminary Credit

In partnership with Prestonwood Baptist Church

Southwestern Seminary is partnering with Prestonwood Baptist Church’s Internship Program to offer up to 26 credit hours for students who complete the 2-year Prestonwood internship.

Requirements:

  • Committed follower of Christ
  • Student in good standing at Southwestern Seminary
  • Within 10 years of high school graduation
  • An undergraduate degree
  • Assurance of God’s call to church ministry
  • Agreement to the Intern Covenant
  • Membership at Prestonwood Baptist Church

This internship is an opportunity for students to experience practical, on-site training in ministry while being discipled and mentored by seasoned ministers of the Gospel. Students will serve in a local church context, discipling and investing in the lives of church members. Moreover, they will be able to participate in weekly Intern Development classes, hosted by various senior Prestonwood leaders and ministry experts, all while earning seminary credit.
