Southwestern Seminary announces fall 2019 chapel speakers

Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary has released its schedule of chapel speakers for the fall 2019 semester. Speakers include the seminary’s newly elected president Adam W. Greenway; President of the Southern Baptist Convention J.D. Greear; Distinguished Professor of Preaching Emeritus Al Fasol; President of the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention Juan Sanchez; and Southwestern Seminary’s seventh president, Kenneth S. Hemphill.

The chapel speakers are as follows:

Aug. 27: Adam W. Greenway, president, Southwestern Seminary

Aug. 29: Randy L. Stinson, provost and vice president for academic administration, Southwestern Seminary

Sept. 3: Stephen Rummage, senior pastor, Quail Springs Baptist Church, Oklahoma City, Okla.

Sept. 5: Al Fasol, distinguished professor of preaching emeritus, Southwestern Seminary

Sept. 10: Philip Levant, chairman of the board of trustees, Southwestern Seminary; pastor, Iglesia Bautista La Vid, Hurst, Texas

Sept. 12: Al Meredith, retired pastor, Wedgwood Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas

Sept. 17: Travis S. Kerns, associate professor of apologetics and world religions, Southwestern Seminary

Sept. 19: Jack Graham, pastor, Prestonwood Baptist Church, Plano, Texas

Sept. 24: Michael Dean, lead teaching pastor, Travis Avenue Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas

Sept. 26: O.S. Hawkins, president and CEO, Guidestone Financial Resources

Oct. 8: Brent Taylor, senior pastor, First Baptist Church at The Fields, Carrollton, Texas

Oct. 10: Ronnie W. Floyd, president and CEO, Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention

Oct. 15: Adam W. Greenway, president, Southwestern Seminary
