Auditions for our ministry-based ensembles, graduate assistantships, and scholarships occur yearly in the spring and fall months.

Prospective bachelor’s and master’s students in worship studies or worship leadership should prepare two contrasting pieces representing their highest level of achievement.
Prospective bachelor’s students in performance areas should prepare two contrasting pieces representing their highest level of achievement (for voice concentrations, one of the two pieces should be in a language other than English).
Prospective master’s students in performance areas should prepare three contrasting pieces representing their highest level of achievement (for voice concentrations, two of the three pieces should be in a language other than English).
Doctor of Musical Arts candidates have enhanced requirements (please see DMA Audition Requirements for more information).
No. All prospective students who audition are automatically considered for talent scholarships and assistantships. No additional application or audition is necessary.
You may audition for more than one area but no more than two areas.
The School of Church Music and Worship will contact you if a phone interview is necessary.
Prospective students are encouraged to complete their application and video submission by December 1 for January matriculation and April 1 for August matriculation. Students may submit applications and videos after the deadlines; however, priority consideration is given to students who complete their application and video submission by the dates indicated above.
