Revive the Nation

• The class will meet on Monday afternoons until the Monday following Spring Break. The course is to help with sermon and revival preparation. The meetings include general discussion, class breakout sessions tailored towards specific assignments, and a focus on engaging the lost with the gospel.

• The class rate of tuition is the same as your other courses per credit hour.

• Students must participate in an interview before they can enroll in the class or receive clearance to participate in RTN. Classes are available for students who desire to take the class for credit. In the previously mentioned case, students will take the 3 hr. section pertaining to their specific degree, Undergrad and Graduate. All others will enroll in the 0 hr. section, giving the student access to updates and communication regarding the larger group.
• Texas Baptist College students will enroll in EVA-2453-A if they take the class for credit. All others will enroll in EVA-2450-I.
• Southwestern Seminary students will enroll in EVANG-5453-A/I if they take the class for credit. All others will enroll in EVANG-5450-A/I.
• If students want to take the class for Preaching credit, they will enroll in PRCHG-5363-A/I. All others will enroll in PRCHG-5360-A/I.

• Yes, RTN is open to churches in all fifty United States.

While churches are encouraged to apply online, a paper application is available. For a paper application, contact us at 817.923.1921 x8640.

• A church may cancel its application. However, after January 31^st, the church will be accountable for reimbursing the cost of the student’s pre-paid ticket to Southwestern Seminary.

• “There are two types of preparation, organizational and spiritual. One may go to the extreme in either direction. We may place all our emphasis upon spiritual preparation and not succeed; or, on the other hand, we may place all emphasis upon organizational preparation and thoroughly fail.” (Autrey, C.E. Basic Evangelism. Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 1959, p. 107).
• Churches should prepare spiritually by humbly seeking the Lord and praying for Him to send revival. Churches should prepare organizationally by spreading the word in the community about upcoming opportunities and planning for food and lodging for the guest preacher.
