Cristian G. Rata is a seasoned scholar and pastor with a rich background in Old Testament studies, Hebrew language and literature, and theological education. Currently based in Texas, he also serves as an International Trainer for Training Leaders International, imparting knowledge on Old Testament studies and Hebrew to diverse audiences globally. His extensive academic journey and pastoral experience reflect a deep commitment to biblical scholarship and church ministry.

Scholarly Contributions:

Dr. Rata's scholarly work encompasses a wide range of topics within Old Testament studies, including the presentations of academic papers and contributions to journals. He wrote and published a Hebrew grammar (Biblical Hebrew Grammar for Seminarians [TTGU Press, 2015]), and edited books in English (with Boda and Longman: The Words of the Wise Are Like Goads) and Romanian. His research interests span Wisdom Literature, the Psalter, Hebrew grammar and Semitic languages, archaeology of Syria-Palestine, apologetics, and preaching.
