Dr. Taylor’s research for the past several years has focused upon the Letter of James. In addition to published articles in Currents in Biblical Research and Catholic Biblical Quarterly, his dissertation, A Text-Linguistic Investigation into the Discourse Structure of James, has been published in T & T Clark’s Library of New Testament Studies series, and he is the author of the New American Commentary vol. 28 on 1 Corinthians.
Prior to Ph.D. studies at Southwestern, Dr. Taylor served various churches in the Southeast (Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas) including the pastorate of the First Baptist Church of Osceola, AR.
