Crider releases worship sets from SBC annual meeting
INDIANAPOLIS – In response to requests from churches across the Southern Baptist Convention, Joseph Crider has released the worship sets used during the SBC annual meeting in Indianapolis, June 11-12. Crider served as the music director for the annual meeting.
“Over the past several days, we have been inundated with requests for the music selection list we led at the annual meeting,” said Crider, dean of the School of Church Music and Worship (SCMW) at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. To serve worship pastors and churches, he decided to release the list of songs and links to some of the arrangements.
Student musical groups Southwestern A Cappella ensemble and Cowden Hall Band joined Crider in leading worship during the annual meeting. Chuck Lewis, SCMW associate dean, also led worship in Indianapolis.
Crider also provided a list of current undergraduate and graduate degree programs offered by the SCMW.
